Taylor Swift said she received an “amazing early birthday present” after being named Billboard’s 2014 Woman of the Year on Friday (Dec. 12). Later that night, the “Shake It Off” singer celebrated her 25th birthday in style with a few of her superstar pals.
"Being named Billboard Woman of the Year for a second time is this amazing early birthday present," Swift noted in her opening remarks at Billboard’s Women in Music event. "I turn 25 at midnight tonight, and I fully intend to to celebrate like it's 1989."
Judging by her Instagram posts, Swift had the #bestbirthdayEVER. Following her Jingle Ball appearance at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Swift invited some friends to her New York apartment, including Beyonce, Jay Z, Justin Timberlakeand Sam Smith.
Other guests included Ansel Elgort, Karlie Kloss, Kelly Osbourne, 5 Seconds of Summer, Haim, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo, Charli XCX, Chrissy Teigen, Shawn Mendes, and Jaime King, US Weekly reports. See the photos below.
